Louisiana's World History Teacher Lesson Ideas

World History, something I had never taught before the 1999-00 school year. I had to create everything from scratch it seemed. For me, I tell everyone I thought Alexandria was in Rapids Parish, little did I know there was one in Egypt of all places ! I didn't know much about the "world" outside of Louisiana - I just figured they were all "Yankees" - or worst.

So here I am, teaching about the world and suddenly I get other teachers asking me to do a website for them - NO WAY! I have all I can do to keep up with Louisiana. The best I can do do is post a few items I used this year. They are not great but it's all I had. I will add more this summer.
