Marcus de la Houssaye takes a group from Louisiana Voices into Cypress Island Swamp
We made our way into the swamp by a 20 foot aluminum skiff.
We drove through bottomland hardwoods, oak palmettos, and hundred year old cypress trees
Every few feet was another breath-taking photo to be taken
Birds of all types made their home among the dense mats of floating and submarine vegetation.
