Everyday "Directions"After discussions of a compass rose and the various directions, I give the students the work sheet below to do showing the directions to places around the school community. Since these kids have walked to most of these places, they have a general idea of the directions and where the places are in relation to the school.As a follow-up, I have them do a home compass rose showing their house and eight well known locations around them.
