A wonderful way to learn locations

Where am I?
Divide the class into groups of 2 to 4 students. Give each a desk map of the world. Choose a country without telling the students. The students must find where you are by asking questions. Each group gets a turn until someone discovers your location. There is a catch - the questions can only be answered with a yes or no.
Example: Are you north of the equartor? Are you west of the prime meridian? Are you north of 45N? Are you an island?
Hopefully, by longitude and latitude, and other questions like the ones above, the students will narrow down their choices to a small section of the map before guessing. Whichever group correctly guesses is able to pick a counrty and lead the game next.
