When you enter the capitol,
notice the flags that have flown over Louisiana. Notice the one 'wrong'
one.
The English flag is historically
incorrect. They have been told this hundreds of times including by many
British visitors.
What's wrong?
The flag should not have
a red "X" only a red "+". The flag shown is after the country became the
United Kingdom.
It was not the "UK" when
it controlled part of what would become Louisiana.

Little do they know that
Huey Long's coffin sat on this very spot as thousands of mourners filed
past in 1935.
...
Be sure to look closely
at all the 1930 artwork. Much of it has been painted over in other parts
of the building.
...
Many
of Louisiana's great figures grace the foyer.

The elevator doors feature
the faces of all the Louisiana governors up til the 1930s

Of course, Huey got the
most prominate spot, EVEN THOUGH his is out of order.
All the rest run top left
to lower right. He got the honor spot of top right, right-hand door.
To make it all work out
the artists had to 'cram' several faces (Civil War governors) in some panels.
