As with many
people in Louisiana, we have made the trip to the state capitol lots of
times.
How many times do we really
"look" at what is there?
On a bitterly cold November
day I made my 'umpteenth' visit to the capitol.
This time I just wanted
to look and take a few pics for the website. Below are those photos and
my comments.
...
The capitol is full of history
if we just take the time to look. Our entire state history
is carved on the walls...
...
At least the history up
to the mid 1930s when the capitol was completed.
...
...
...
By now everyone knows the
story of Huey Long and his connection to the capitol.

If
you are from Louisiana, do you ever look at any other steps besides the
18th?
